Description

If you don't like the slow start of your PC from an HDD, you might prefer the jump start from an SSD. ICY BOX IB-2217 is the right mobile rack for your SSD.

The small brother
The IB-2217aStS offers place for one 2.5" SATA SSD or HDD and it is built into one 3.5" bay in the PC. The SSD/HDD are installed without a tray and therefore also without the use of any tool.
Advanced safety
Even though the IB-2217aStS offers place for only one HDD, it still is safe. A lock is available to keep unauthorized persons away and the clamp holds the HDD safely in place, while internally, the HDD is connected with a SATA connector and the LED is connected seperately with a 4-pin connector.
Cool and stable
The frame is made out of metal while the front panel is made out of high-quality aluminum. This provides a lower temperature without a need of a fan.
